Disability.  Not many other options.

  Hello,

     There are always organizations that are set up to do exactly that; help people in a financial crisis, particularly of a medical nature; especially if you are a parent. Also check with state organizations. They are out there. You just have to do some research. Here are some places you can start;

HASL-1.800.758.4275 you will need to tell them your situation, and where you are, and they should be able to direct you to some help.
CEAP- 763-566-9600  emergency assistance    http://www.ceap.com/about.php
CATHOLIC CHARITIES USA- (703) 549-1390
    I hope this helps,

There are several organizations they might try without feeling ashamed. The Dept of Social Services, (Aid for families with Dependent Children), Red Cross, The United Way, for each of these services they must make a physical appearance and bring physical proof, of Dr lic, birth certs, Soc Sec cards, Green cards, Visas, All Determinations by EDD of Unemployment benefits, Disability payments, last check stubs, all utility bills, medical bills you currently pay, checking and saving ac'ts, proof any other type of income such as money given/ made by other family member or friends. Failure to provide this documentation will mean the difference in whether the family is assisted or not.

Thank You very much for all the information we'll look into them. Again Thank You

Thank You for the information, it's nice to know that people care enough to supply information

You are more than welcome. If think of any others I will contact you again.  I say that because as the holidays start up more agencies pop up at a time when children and the kinds of families you spoke of are in the most need.

As Skitch said, you can apply for Temporary SSID, diability insurance.  Everyone pays for this, so he should be able to get it.  One little caveat before you apply tho: Everyone gets turned down the first time they apply, it's part of the process, appeal and keep trying and you'll get accepted.
