It may not be biological as with women but men often do go through a mid-life crisis brought on by a feeling of being overcome by the stresses of family responsibilities, burnout at the job and possible changed marital and sexual problems.

Most men will go through one wanting to buy a sports car, getting a younger girlfriend, wearing tighter clothes and doing the old comb over.

Fortunately for me my wife won't let me have a mid life crisis.

I think more so than women, because women are more mature and more aware of how time is pasing.

Yes, men experience a midlife crisis and it's sometimes called male menopause.  However, Todd Nippoldt, M.D., an endocrinologist at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minn., prefers the term "andropause."  Read the medical article below:
