I use to go on a diet and be able to loose 10lbs ...

I use to go on a diet and be able to loose 10lbs in a week now that I'm 53 years old the weight just doesn't come off. How can I be successful as my body is changing with menapause? I hate the middle bulge.

Unfortunately...and I should know :) we need to eat a little less, a lot more sensibly and exercise a little longer.

If you lost 10 pounds in a week, it wasn't all fat loss.  You lost water weight and probably some muscle tissue.  And obviously that strategy didn't work long-term, so it's time for a change right?

You're getting older, your hormones are changing, you will have to put some more effort into reshaping your eating and exercise.  There are no shortcuts, though some things will work better than others.  Start doing some research and find a plan that's suitable for you.
