print out your question, keep it with you and the next time you see him, give it to him to read. You might be too shy to speak to him but nothing stops you from writing down how you feel on a piece of paper and giving it to him.

You cannot be in love with a person you do not even know well enough to talk to.  You can have a crush on him and think he is cute, but until you spend many long hours talking with him can you say you are in love. 

I would not tell him if I were you.  He sounds like he too, is shy or else he would say something to you once in awhile. 

 He may like you as a person, but not as a girlfriend. He may not know you at all. 

Until you can walk with him and talk with him and become friends with him, you cannot know if he likes you or not. 

 I think you like the idea of him, and I think you should at least say, "Hi" to him, and try to chat with him just a little bit, to show him you are interested in him.  If he is interested in you, or even if he is just flattered by the attention, he should talk back to you. 

After you've had many long conversations with him, you will be able to know for yourself without asking anyone....that you honestly  do love him.
