I would agree with that statement.

I'm a bit fascinated by Cleveland. I think you're fortunate to live there. Though perhaps the eyes of an outside see more positively than someone who lives there. But I think it's really a cool city.

If a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, then that makes me a burning truck filled with TNT hurtling through a rocket fuel depot.

I was joking. I don't live in Cleveland. I am from a large city in the North East but I have since moved to a warmer climate.

I took your "tongue in cheek" comment about Cleveland as a joke Anonymous, that's why I answered as I did.  The only thing is:  I was not joking.  Cleveland is only a joke to those who have not visited in awhile.  Those days when the river caught fire because of all the sewage and filth  are long long gone...but the joke still surfaces now and again.

We visit Cleveland often because we have relatives there and we've been as surprised as anyone how that city has "come back."  We are just hoping Detroit will be able to make it as well as Cleveland has.  Now, Chicago....that's a city to be proud of!  imho.

Is faith also a gift? I suggest it is given by your will. If you "will" to turn away from God, or toward God you are given the faith accordingly?

 

By grace you are saved through faith and that not of yourself, It is the gift of god and not of works lest anyone should boast
