create a "Profile Badge" from your profile page on Facebook.

Those links are what Facebook likes to call "Badges." Go to your profile. Scroll all the way to the bottom. On the lower left hand column you should see a link that says "Create Profile Badge." Click that. From there you can edit a Badge to show the info you'd like. At the end, it will give you some html code that you can copy and paste into another website or blog. When people click on your Badge, they will get sent directly to your Facebook info box.

I do not want to add my profile to my website.....i want to add my group? there is no badge seen in the group page :( any clue how I add it to my website?
I work for a fortune 500 company (Intuit) optimizing websites for our customers - and we regularly have our clients sign up for Facebook in order to create the valuable profile page (because of the ability to link to your website).
Several other posts have already dealt with the topic of Facebook "badges" so I'll just focus on how to create the inbound link to your site from your profile page (please note: it's extremely valuable for establishing your initial page rank on Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc because of the popularity of the site.)
To create the link, login to your account and click on
1) "view and edit your profile"2) "contact information" 3) Then in the white box below - where it says "website" simply put in the FULL url for the site or anchor text with a keyword that points to the site; example: Teeth Whitening Trays (which links the parent site)4) Finally, click "save changes"
Now give it some time (1-2 weeks) then Google and all the major search engines will re crawl Facebook and pick you up and PRESTO - you've got a valuable inbound link to your site!
Those of you answering are not answering the actual question. I am having the same problem. A facebook badge is for your facebook PROFILE page, NOT a facebook page. They are not the same thing. A page is something you create as a separate page from your profile where you get "fans" rather than "friends". Same as a "group" is different than your profile. I want to create a link to my business facebook "page" (ie. not profile) which is different than my personal profile. I want this link to be on my website. Facebook pages will create a link for you but it is only a text link. I would like the facebook logo so that it is easily recognizable to everyone at a quick glance.
Can anyone help us with this?
