What fabric is used on plushies? Or at least the one in Sew Kawaii.

I actually bought this book but I found it hard to figure out what fabric I needed. What is the fabric on the octopus in Sew Kawaii. I have to buy it from Hancock Fabrics or Hobby Lobbby so please be specific in what kind of fabric this is. I think it is really soft (and cuddly) but I can't tell.
