Extreme slowness in AOL Mail delivery

For the past day or two AOL mail delivery has been exceedingly slow.  I use a forwarding service that forwards my messages to two accounts where I read them.  One of these is AOL.  The messages forwarded to AOL are up to 3 or 4 hours or more late!  I have been doing this for years and AOL has never been more than a few minutes behind my other service.

Am I the Lone Ranger in this or is AOL crapping out?
