Last time I tried to change dollars into Euros here in the US (Atlanta), the exchange rate was horrendous (I checked with my bank and airport kiosks). The OP does not say whether he is making a stop in Europe or is based in a city where you can find a decent dollar/euro exchange rate. In my situation, given where I've gone, how I've gotten there (bypassing the Euro zone), and where I'm from, dollars have been the better choice. Of course, at the way things are going, how long until 1 CFA = 1 USD !?!?

I'm sure we haven't made the OP's decision any easier! lol
