Ethanol Level in Blood Test

If my blood test shows Ethanol Level of 6 mg/dL, what does that mean?  Could that be because of the alcohol or iodine being used to draw the blood?

An increased reaction time, diminished fine motor control, impulsivity, and impaired judgment become evident when the concentration of ethanol in the blood is 20 to 30 mg/dL. More than 50% of persons are grossly intoxicated by a concentration of 150 mg/dL. A blood test that shows a level of 6mg/dL can likely be from something you drank or ate before having blood drawn as well as from the iodine used to clean the area before blood was drawn.
