In the long run, I'd have to say no.

That's because a Kindle (or any e-reader) is eventually going to break or become obsolete, whereupon it's likely to get tossed in the trash. A hardbacked book, on the other hand, is likely to last for several lifetimes.

How many people will be able to hand their favorite Kindle down to their children and grandchildren?

I don't wish to be argumentative ,but I disagree with the Islamic belief that I should be killed! " If radical atheists decided they needed to kill believers to ensure their place in nothingness, I'd be criticizing that too."

it's a good question. maybe as you mentioned in the real long term - no, but for the near future it's close enough as it saves the papers for book.

for me personally no kindle can replace an actual book- the smell, the pages, to flip through it. it's hard to match, no matter how small and handy it is.

I don't need to waste time and paper. I simply do it with <a href="" rel="nofollow" cl="http://www.arx.com" class="comlink">digital signature</a> .
