Discuss taligat's answer to: How many wells does bp have in the gulf?

According to BP chief executive Tony Hayward: "we have many wells in the Gulf of Mexico." That's probably the best answer we are going to get.

Seriously, folks, I listened to Haywards comments yesterday and it seems he is saying they have "hundreds of wells" in our Gulf. Even he did not know how many. Does our government know? WHO IS MONITORING THOSE !!! With BPs track record on safety (700 + violations), we need to lauch an emergency response to monitor or suspend the other wells. In other words, see the forest as well as the one infamous tree.
