I have a pioneer VHX 919 which I love deeply. I'm always partial to Pioneer, but Marantz makes excellent equipment as well. Both are high end, and my guess is both are equally good. In that case, the difference for me is which one has more of the features you want?

If a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, then that makes me a burning truck filled with TNT hurtling through a rocket fuel depot.
