Discuss Bonestructure's answer to: How to enhance regular dvd to blu ray?

The best you can do to enhance a DVD is to get a good DVD player with HDMI connections that upsamples regular DVDs to, I think, 1200 DPI or something. I can't remember exactly, and I'd have to dig out my owner's manual to check. But my player is an upsampling Pioneer region free player. And to be perfectly honest, I got it more for the region free feature than the upsampling. I frankly see very little difference between regular DVDs and Blurays. Not enough difference to make it worth the extra money everything costs. Not for me thanks.

If a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, then that makes me a burning truck filled with TNT hurtling through a rocket fuel depot.
