Composition is the art of properly structuring the elements of language, such as how to write a proper paragraph:

example - A paragraph should have, at least 4 sentences.  The first sentence makes a statement.  Then, the next two or so sentences should elaborate or substantiate the point.  The final sentence needs to sum up the preceding lines.

I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

And what about music? A composer is someone who writes music isn't it?
