Not at all. I cannot wait for time to pass so his term can be judged by those not involved in our time with him. I do believe he will go down as the worst president we have had. The only thing I have on my side is that time will tell. I hope to be an old man one day and read Presidential Scholars reviews of our country under his terms. I believe that if we can look past the war on terror (which was run ineptly itself) we will see in the future his harm done on nearly all levels of leadership.

Eight years is the term limit. There are some things I will miss and some I won't. I will miss the security I have felt he gave us. He was tough on terrorism. I won't miss the fact, that he could not seem to stand up to the democrats and get tougher regulations passed so that our economy didn't collapse. The war in Iraq was a judgement call he had to make. Right or wrong, I would have rather he made it, than not. I agree with Dennis Miller when he said "Wanting to be president seems to be it's own form of madness".

History will judge Bush, but how, I think will depend on the next 8 years.

Bush inherited so much of the mess we are in. Just as Obama is inheriting this mess too. It is hard to put the blame entirely on to one man. Bush will not be the worst!

If it's funny, laugh. If it isn't funny, laugh anyway!

President Bush erred on the side of caution. Historically, Democrats have erred by not being cutious enough. I'll feel less secure without the Bush approach.

Bush has done a lousy job of being president. Not just what he did, but what people think about what he did. No brain power, and no real drive toward greatness. Geeze, is it possible that one of that crowd can be sent to jail for war crimes? That would be awful, but perhaps necessary. What jerks!!!

George- I like you I really do...but at what cost has feeling safer come? Do you truly believe that a free society can be protected and remain free. Warrentless wire taps make you feel secure? Also remember that whole Enron thing....they ALL had 7 years to work on it (as that speculation scam is closly related to the gas goughing). And you truly still believe in the war in Iraq? We are letting the real villians kill us in Afghanistan while they were playing in the sand....how many Iraqi hijackers...I am not meaning to staart a fight and I apologize if I have offended you.

one more thing.....6 of the 8 years both houses and the president were from the same party....he never had to stand up to the dems because they were not in the way....Ginghrich and company started this whole deregulation thing in the 90s and Clinton signed it into law as he had to because the veto was overridden with the majority Republican house and Senate...

no, at the sight of bush, my blood pressure used to go up.  he did more harm to our country than we could have ever imagined.  domestic and foreign policies were a complete failure.  the lies greed and corruption will be his legacy.

CE1...No offence taken. We have different viewpoints is all. I respect your opinions.

I think I am a middle of the road guy. True, I am a republican, and conservative in my thinking. I won't point the finger at just one party, or person. I don't think Bush did the best job he could. He has made some choices that may have been wrong. iIdon't agree with everything that he did. For people to call him a criminal and a crook is not fair though. I give him the respect he deserves for even taking on the job as President. I think he did the best he could give the tools he had to work with, and for that, I can not condem him.

I firmly beleive, that we as a nation will not move forward until bi-partisianship is a thing of the past. We need to focus on America. Obama...."There are no blue states or red states, only The United States" Once our elected officials can get that through their heads we may be able to move forward.

To reiterate the question....Will I miss Bush, and why or why not? Yes, for safety. No, for his errors on the economy.

If it's funny, laugh. If it isn't funny, laugh anyway!
