If my car is registered in a county that requires an emissions but I live in a county attending college that doesn't, can I get a waiver?

it does not go by county it goes by state law sorry

If you want it done and done right the first time do it yourself

lisa, look up on computer and see if you can get extension for 3 months , most states allow this!In maryland you can do this twice just by making a phone call..Good Luck

I live in Gwinnett Co GA, one county over, Barrow does not require emissions. My daughter attends college in Statesboro GA, they do not require emissions, FYI.

I moved from New Jersey to Florida.  Now N.J. requires the emissions test and Florida does not.  Unless you change your address and license or registration you probably will have to go back to the county you lived in to have it registered.  You can drive it but if you get caught you will be ticketed.  I was.

Went ahead and got the emissions...thanks for all the suggestions.
