The ethical banter on Stem Cell research is long and varied.  I have endured a number of symposia on the subject.  Supposedly, stem cells can replicate virtually any damaged or defective tissue, at the risk of cancer.

I would have no problem with stem cell treatment.  Think of the possibilities!

Stem cells could give atheists functional brains!
Stem cells could give attorneys human hearts!
Stem cells could restore the backbones of politicians!
Stem cels could reverse the brain damage that Democrats suffer!

Or is that asking the impossible?

I have my problems with the way they get embryonic stem cells.  They get them from aborted fetuses.  These are human beings, not abnormal growths to be removed like cancers.
