Emails before May 11th deleted?

All of my emails before May 11th were deleted. This is the first time I noticed it, and I'm kind of confused by the whole thing. Any knowledge regarding this?

Not receiving emails that people have said they sent to my email

Thy probably went to the spam folder. Did you check there? They only stay in the Spam folder for a week. Because airlines send so much mail, those reservations very often go to Spam.
