There is no way to prevent someone from sending you mail, but you can control from whom you wish to receive mail.  If you use AOL 9.1 or earlier, go to keyword: SPAM CONTROLS and click the Edit link next "Sender Filter".  If you use webmail, click Settings -> Spam Controls and select "Custom" from the "Spam Filters by Address" drop-down.  Then click "Block mail from" and put the undesired addresses in the box.

Block email

So i guess the answer is "no". You canNOT block someone's email. It will simply go to your Spam folder which the sender will not know and will continue to send you junk mail.

No emails

There were a few days in early July where it seemed that all mail went to Spam.
