You can't always get an instant response with email, and especially not on a message board like this. I may only read mail once a day. Even if you send mail to someone who gets their mail instantly on a cell phone, they could be on the phone with someone else. Or they could decide that your question doesn't have an instant answer. If you want to know what is 2% of $1.00 that gets instant response. Trivia questions get Wikipedia answers quickly. If you ask for opinions, that takes longer. If you want expert opinions like the value of an antique, you may not get any free answers.
