I was on a business visit to USA my I-94 was valid ...

I was on a business visit to USA my I-94 was valid till 27th Sep-08. i went to canada on 26sep-08 to attend travel conference and was returning back to USA on 30th September-08. AT the US immigration counter at the Toronto int. AIrport the officer on duty refused me to enter in USA and told me that i was working in USA which was not correct as i was going to USA to attend a conference and exhibition being helsd in Las vegas from 1st to 3rd october-08. I have shown all the documents and a letter of invitation from the organiser and also from my indian office but from my Bank of America debit card and my driving licence and my address on it she presumed that i was working in USA and returned my passport with a remark of I-275 at Toronto RPF.and asked me to go back to india. I had no alternative and with a loss of business and money i jhad to come back to India. Please tell me can i go back to USA on a business visit as we have also opened a incorporation of indian company in New Jersey and i am one of the director in the company. I have US B1/B2 visa valid for 10 years and with multiple entries. please guide me.
