I found the corect spelling. THORIUM. It is found in the earth's crust worldwide. It will replace our current nuclear fuel. It produces no hazardous radiation. We have enough in the lower U. S. to supply us for 1,000 years.  There are enough known reserves worldwide to furnish all our electrical needs for even longer. China and India are developeing it at record speed.

Why aren't we?  Politics? Proabably; what else?  As long as we the American people continue to allow our gov't. to line the politicians pockets by special interest groups, we can forget anything that makes sense.  The politicians (R/D) fight each other not to help us but to line their pockets.  They run the gov't. so how do we beat them?  Do we have to do what the Asians are currently doing?  We couldn't hang just one like they can in Asia because our dictators are in the hundreds and thousands!  That's the bad thing about Democracy as we the Americans know it.  But, God Bless our country, there's still hope!
