Editable posts?

First off, I'd like to say that I think Yedda is simply a fantastic example of [Web 2.0] in action, both in terms of concept and implementation. I notice that often times when I answer a question, I've made a mistake in formatting or content. It would be nice to be able to edit posts, perhaps via Wiki technology or a custom solution from the Yedda development team. Would the addition of such a feature -- the ability to edit posts after the fact -- be something within the realm of consideration for Yedda?

Hello Jaselan,

The question was addressed to me, but in the spirit of Web 2.0 it is also visible for everyone so that they can benefit from it.

We are working on adding the necessary attribution so that you will see the question was asked from my profile.

In any case, you CAN edit a question and/or answer after they have been posted. There is a small "Edit" near the "Reply" and "Blog this" links.

Did you see it?

Do you think its visible enough?

Or did you have in mind something like a Wiki (as you said) which will show all the editing history?

One must do what one must do

ok, perfect...

I completely missed it.. totally my fault (see below)

> Do you think its visible enough?

Oh yes.. completely. My problem is that for now, I'm accessing the Internet via clunky old machines in a neglected little computer lab, and so I've not really been able to concentrate fully while online...

No, the current Yedda implementation is the "correct" one (again, I simply missed it due to my current situation and circumstances). I see no need for an editing history.. again, the current implementation meets the need perfectly (in the conventionally correct way), and nothing more.. which is a hallmark of all the best Web 2.0 apps/sites, of which I consider Yedda to be right up there with the very best of them.
