To sell a book on eBay you might want to start by taking a few good pictures of the book you are selling and write out a thorough description so as to not get hung up during the selling process.To start the process, sign into your eBay account, go to sell in the upper right hand corner of any screen on eBay and click sell an item in the drop down menu. Then click start selling to begin. eBay will then walk you through the rest!

Follow the instruction below...

Register and get an account at eBay by visiting the website and clicking on "Register" (see Resources below). You will be asked for contact information. Then, you'll choose a username and password for your account.

Click on the "Sell" tab on the right side of the webpage. In the screen that pops up, select the "Browse for categories" button directly below "Start Selling."

Select "Books" and "Textbooks, Education" on the categories list. Click on the "Continue" button when prompted.

Find the ISBN number on the textbook you want to sell. It will be both on the bottom of the back cover and on the publication-information page inside the book. Enter the ISBN number, author or title of the book into the box provided.

Create your listing for the book. All general information and a picture of the cover will be provided if your book is already in the eBay system. Describe the condition of the book where you see "Describe the item you're selling" box.

Determine the starting bid price by considering how much you paid for it and a reasonable amount you would like to obtain. Sellers usually begin somewhat lower than their ideal prices in hopes that bidding will eventually drive the prices higher.

Choose the methods of payment and shipping you will offer. Set the shipping fees.

Click "Continue" and review what your book page will look like. Check for any mistakes.

Click "Continue" at the bottom of the page and complete your payment information. Approve the final version of your listing.

Watch your listing during the 7-day auction period to see whether any bids have been made and adjust your listing accordingly.
