I didn't know that ebay was selling cars. This really is a shocker. I am not so trusting of Car Fax. What if the person fixed the car on his own and it was never reported? Would the lemon law apply even if the car was bought on line?

My husband bought a Lexus off Ebay going on 5 years ago.  On the page with the car you are considering...look to the right for Feedback on the seller.  The seller we bought from was magnificent!  The car was listed on CarFax.  When we got it...it was JUST AS DESCRIBED...really NICE, not a scratch on it...beautiful inside and out...and the delivery was expedient...the price right...NO COMPLAINTS.  We live in Alabama...and it came from Houston, TX.  Just make sure you do your research...don't do any impulsive buying off Ebay.

Not to mention you should have questioned it before buying. The most likely reason this is happening is that the sensor that triggers that light is bad and they were too lazy and cheap to replace it.

I have put 80,000 miles on my Ranger. It had 100,000 on it when I bot it. It will cruise 75-80 mph down the hiway, if the rest of the traffic is going that fast, without any problems. It does not burn oil.
