My aunt tells me about a Col. William Wade who with his troops crossed a river near Marion Arkansas. She tells me there is a place called "Wade's Crossing" or "Wade's Landing" somewere near there. I'm trying to find out if this is so.

Sorry, I research all sites on wars but can't find col. william Wade...many privates by that name.....no Wade crossing or landing to be found....Blessings, Veronica
