Hi Victoria, I'm no dream expert, but it is my understanding that each character in our dreams is actually a part of ourselves that needs attending.  If we dream of a monster, that part of our psche needs looking into.  What is making us believe/think we are monster-like. 

Therefore, the "baby" is the young you that perhaps you have been neglecting.  You need mothering and may be the only one to provide that "mothering" spirit. 

I would hold that "dream" baby in my arms/heart and say soothing things to her.  Just take care of yourself in kind and comforting ways.  It must be needed.

  That's what I think.
