All they use to serve was doughnuts and coffee they encouraged you to dunk there doughnuts in there coffee hence the name Dunkin Doughnuts

You really gotta love coffee but to dunk a donut or cookies (just like in milk) is a really good taste combo. Try this too, take a half teaspoon of peanut butter on your tongue followed by a swallow of coffee. Swirl it around and enjoy the flavor. Try it.

Dunkin' Donuts did not invent the practice of dunking a donut in coffee.  What they did do was offer a donut with a handle, specially designed for dunking.  The original dunkin' donut was a Q-shaped cake donut that was quite a novelty 50 years ago.  It is still found at some locations.

And now, you know the rest of the story.

I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

fifthbeatle, I really didn't need to know that.  LOL  I have enough problems trying to stop eating peanut butter off a spoon.  I just tried it with coffee and loved it.  Now, I'll need to double my peanut butter purchases.  Have you tried in in celery or spreading it on apples?  At least with those, I feel like I'm eating healthy.   Thanks for your post.  Signed--A peanut-butter junkie.

Sometimes we put up walls not to keep people out, but to see who cares enough to break them down.
