We are looking to donate, VHS tapes, old encyclopedias, board games, furniture, nic-nacs, old TVs, books, etc. to a charitable organization. We need the donations picked up in our apartment on the third floor as my husband is disabled and we are unable to bring these items to the curb. Also in our neighborhood curbside pickup is not an options. Any ideas?

You can call a handy man to take the items down to the sidewalk when you make arrangements for a pickup. Most charities pick up at the curb. They will work with you for a specific date. Disabled Vets and other associated Vet groups  would pick them up outside.
