I am sorry to say that I do not have an accurate answer to that question. I can remember back in the 80's and  90's when I use to go to the store; the money would certainly go 3 times farther than now.

I would assume that a home that cost 20,000 then would cost more like 48,000 now. Just guessing. I am glad the person before was a little more accurate. I am also glad that there is a family dollar close by for me to shop.
