Dogs

Dogs are good to be pet. They are the most loyal and fun pet to play on. They love to go on rides sitting in the dog car seats.

You must get rid of ALL of the odor.  Anything left that is detectable by the dog, will make it re-use the same location.  Look for enzymatic cleaners.  Ouright makes one, and Oreck (the vacuum folks) make a good one.  If the odor is down into a carpet pad, replacing the carpet may be the only solution.

If you can't take your dog out on a regular basis and you don't expect to be home...then surely you put down a wee wee pad while you are gone.  If you aren't going to use wee wee pads...then you should buy a kennel to fit your dog...and leave him/her in it while you are gone...or use a baby door guard across the bathroom door to keep him/her from the rest of the house...and put one wee wee pad down in there and his food and water bowl.  Usually a dog will not use the bathroom where it sleeps and eats...so eventually...he/she will learn to hold it until you get back.

You didn't say if your Furry is doing the peeing inside or outside but if it's inside you're trying to stop then put down a stain remover immediately or as soon as you find the spot so there's no odor to draw your dog back to that spot.  If you are going to be away for the day then put down a Puppy Pee Pad to cover the spot.  If he pees there then you can paper train him or get him going outside by moving the paper to that spot where you want him to pee outside. 

The age of the dog is a big factor too. Good luck.
