dogs are like people. if your alone then you dont feel very well. put your self in the dogs paws. haha. he longs for another dog to play with.

That is so true! I just found out, however, that dogs appear depressed and sad when they're sick, too, and we just found out thru a blood test that he had an elevated liver enzyme, plus his thyroid count was high, so he's having an ultrasound on Tuesday. (the earliest we could get).  Poor puppy (he's 8) could have anything from a slight infection to cancer.  We're praying it's curable, so we can get some happiness back in this poor doggie.  Thanks so much for your comments....appreciate it!
