How many Amps. can I safely draw at 120 Volts from a 5500 Watt Generator over a four hour period.

volts times amps equals watts       5500 watts divided by 120 volts equals 45.833...  So, 45 amps max, less if 5500 is peak wattage and not average wattage.  If you're adding it up like charging batteries for four hours, you could say it was 180 amp hours total.
