Split level house. Lower level is half crawl and ...

Split level house. Lower level is half crawl and half living space. At times, water comes out of basement floor drain but only when a lot of water is being used. Crawl has only one visible sewer line and clean-out which serves the kitchen which is above the crawl. On the living side of basement is a half bath and the laundry room. The floors are all cement in this area. No sewer clean-outs are visible. Are they in the walls? Assuming the line out to the street is restricted a bit, I need to rod that. Can I rod through the basement drain or should I take off the basement toilet and rod there? Or might I only need to rod at the clean-out in the crawl thinking that that is the most direct route to the street? Thank you.
