Discuss Thomas Faust's answer to: Why does the Dish hopper delete recordings before I watch it?

Hi there!

I would need more information to provide an accurate response. All of our receivers automatically delete the oldest recording once the hard drive is full unless the recording is protected. With our Hopper's PrimeTime AnyTime option, it holds the recordings for up to 8 days after it records before deleting automatically.

There is no way to delete these programs prior to the 8 days or stop them from deleting after. If you wish to save any of  those recordings, you can copy them to your DVR.
