When filing a Malpractice Lawsuit in the state of Washington. You have three years to do so. There is also an exception which is called The Discovery Rule. To my interpretation of this rule. I have one year to file a lawsuit and no later than eight years. Can someone give me the the true definition to this rule. For I have been told by an Attorney I have only one year. Which I felt was incorrect from what I have read.
