Hi Mark, my advise would be to hire a lawyer. They know how to answer the tricky questions. I hired a lawyer and didn't have to pay til after I won. They usually take 25% of your back pay depending on how long you have been disabled and out of work. Hope that helps

Just be patient.   Your question will be answered by Social Security, and it is not unusual if you are turned down twice, forcing a third filing through an Attorney.   Best wishes.

It helps quite a lot if you're actually disabled. Get all the doctors you can to make up reports on your condition. Even with that, SS will likely have you see their own doctors. It also helps a lot if you can get an advocate to help. Ask your hospital about finding an advocate.
