We recently booked a cruise in Janurary, and were told the early dining times were booked. But we were signed up for Open Seating, in the dining room. What is "Open Seating"?  Thank you in advance for any info you may give us.

open seating is being seated by a hostess or seating yourself where you prefer to sit

you can sit wherever you want to sit. there's no fix place to sit.
