Difficulty of installing central air system - (replacement only)

I am looking at replacing an existing central air AC unit and have found some seemingly excellent deals. All my ductwork is in place for my existing unit, as well as wiring. Would I be foolish to attempt putting this in myself if I have never done it before? I'm thinking I could pay a small service fee to have the system charged properly.

Unless your are a trained a/c technician do not do it. It is very easy to mess up a system if improperly installed. There are many things, other than charging that can go wrong plus you have no labor warranty nor officially do you have a warranty from the manufacture. Last but not least you do not have a EPA liciense and it is against the law.
