Difference between petites and misses clothing

What is the difference between petites and misses sections of women's clothing..

Misses sizes are for 5'5" - 5'6" (165 - 168 cm) tall with average bust and average back.

Petite sizes are for women under 5'4" (162.5 cm) tall and under with lower bust and shorter back.
