No matter what diet plan I choose to follow, or work out plan I choose to follow, they won't work if my heart isn't it my life existence. So can you guide me to emotional eating therapists, etc?  --gracedtruth

You are right. As long as you are not in tune and happy with your inner self, you wont be able to succeed with losing wait. I know this, because I have been there myself. My best advice to you is to start seeing someone. I have seen a psychologist for the last few years and it has been the biggest help. It's allowed me to let out my feeling and to learn about who I am and what I want in my life. Not to mention that it is so great to speak to someone who is very unbiased and can give you advice from a very understanding and eye-opening perspective.

That's why I'm on two diets at the same time...I get twice the calories.

Try Paul McKenna's I can make you thin CD. It uses hypnotherapy to reprogramme your mind so that you only eat when you're hungry and stop when you're full. I've found it very helpful.

It is a good idea but even a better idea would be turning into yourself and trying to discover the power within yourself, I mean through meditation or yoga.. I highly recommend kundalini yoga. They help you to be more focused and help you achieve your goals much faster, this includes weight loss.

I will also recommend GI Diet: In a low Glycemic weight loss plan, you will feel less hunger and your metabolism won't slow down as much due to the lack of spikes in blood glucose and insulin levels. Up and down insulin levels are known to produce the feeling of hunger. Insulin keeps you from metabolizing fat you have already stored, and when you are hungry you have trouble burning that stored energy - and consequently you consume more energy. The low-glycemic diet avoids this pattern of eating-hunger-eating-hunger.
