Because the nasal spray contains a live but weakened strain of the virus, health officials only want it administered to fully healthy individuals.

Diabetes can affect many aspects of your health & immunity and they feel it puts diabetics in risk of complications.  They would prefer you wait, until the injections (which is made with dead h1N1 virus) are available.

I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

Earl is 100% right. I hope by now that you have already gotten your regular flu shot since there is no connection between the H1N1 and the yearly flu.

I recently went to a new doctor and noticed he was located in something called the Professional Building. I felt better right away.

Haven't heard of it being bad to get the h1n1 nasal spray, but reports are coming out that it may be weak in value now, I personally do not get flu shots anymore, last time I think I got the flu was some 40 yrs ago, also try looking into the Natural Cure for Diabetes...Yes there is one called "Diamoxol" makes your organs work properly....my sugar is perfect everyday no matter what I eat, I do walk, and eat right, but I don't have to worry if I go off time to time..try it all you have to lose is your Diabetes..............hope this helped.Tom
