if you stop giving it to him when its done i dobt he will become addicted

Humans can get horribly addicted as you know.  I read 1 week but it all depends on dose too.   Even a low dose for a longer period of time will cause problems.  It is a horrible withdrawl.  The dog probably wont eat sleep be agitated, etc. etc. like humans withdrawl.  I feel sorry for the animals they do that type experiment on.  I am doing the same research because my mothers dog was given a script of the stuff.  Personally I would not give my dog a narcotic more then 3 days consecutive, but thats me.  I do NOT want anyone turning my Opinion into advice, do your research, get other opinions.   Mine is only an opinion and not advice.   Thanks much and best of luck.
