I would talk to the counsellor at your current school about your goal. Talk to your teachers in the classes in which you are doing well. And yes, apply to several schools in your area. But the best advice I could give is to study hard, try to find study partners, ask questions in class, and get as much help as you can to get the best possible marks. The more you learn, the better you will do in the dental hygienist program. Good luck.
