Discuss Chris's answer to: Deleting my account

Thanks for your response.  Soon after I posed this I found this process however it doesn't appear to work for me.  It asks me a security question and I get this response:

Important Notice. We have detected unusual activity on this account. To protect your account from unauthorized use, we have temporarily suspended this username.

Now what should I do?  It appears to be un-cancelable and inaccessible!
