My delete button isn't working

My delete botton isn't working.  When I wish to delete a phrase by highlighting it and then pressing "delete" nothing happens.  Nor can I delete a text error usisng the delete button.

try highlighting what you want to take out then pushe enter and if you need to try takeine an airasole can and spray your button to get clean of just take a damp washcloth and clean the sides of the delete button if that dosent work either not use the button  or get a replacement for the button keyboard
