AOL won't delete your mail - even if it's old. If you didn't delete it, it should still be in your mailbox.

How do I transfer my chosen photo to my Profile?

Underneath Aol Answers...at the top of the page on the black bar, click on settings. Next click on change buddie icon. Click browse. Select the photo from your computer and upload.
