I would not consider a person unemployable if he or she had one good arm.  It might be at most a partial disability.  It would be a handicap for a typist to have only one good hand, but a sales clerk could probably work the register.  Jim Abbott was a pro baseball pitcher who did not have a right hand and played 10 years in the major leagues.
