In Pennsylvania, when you receive a traffic citation you have a fixed period of time to respond to it. If you do not respond, they will issue a DL-38 for the defendant which is a request to the Department of Transportation to suspend your drivers license. So if Defendant - DL-38 Failure to Respond Issued is showing up on your traffic docket, then expect to receive notice soon that your license has been suspended!
